The company layer in detail
What each part of the layer holds, and where each surface, capability, and team page lives. The layer is what compliance execution runs on: it holds the connections, authority, approvals, and action history behind each fix to a failing control.
The seven parts
Deixic connects the CRM’s accounts and the repository’s code to agent work, its checks, and the rules for what happens next.
- Context · What situation are we working in?
- Agents start from your accounts, records, and decisions. Relevant people, accounts, records, relationships, and decisions from connected systems, with their sources. Explore context
- Memory · What should we carry forward?
- Approved corrections carry into later work. Reviewed knowledge your team can correct, supersede, and forget as the work changes. Explore memory
- Skills · What method should we use?
- Procedures your team chose to repeat. Reusable instructions, procedures, and checks your team has chosen to repeat. Explore skills
- Connections · Which systems can the agent access?
- Systems Dex can read from and act in. Authenticated accounts and workspaces Dex can use when its identity, provider permissions, and your policy allow the requested read or action. Explore connections
- Work · What did we try, and what happened?
- Documents, sheets, apps, records, and routines that outlive a thread. Tasks, actions, artifacts, business state, and history that let the next task continue from earlier work. Documents, sheets, apps, business records, and routines carry work beyond a single conversation.
- Evaluation · Did it work, and does it still work?
- Replays that check a new model or method. Evidence, baselines, and tests determine whether experience has earned reuse—and whether it still deserves it when a model, prompt, or method changes. Explore evaluation
- Authority · Who can decide, and what can proceed?
- Approvals and rules for what can proceed. Permissions, rules, and approvals encode where human authority remains required for company work through Deixic. Explore authority
Your team decides what future work may rely on: review the evidence, scope and test the method, and keep a version with its source and owner, while the history, failures included, stays.
