Turn on Dex Proactivity
With Dex Proactivity on, Dex watches for what slips and brings you a suggestion before anyone asks.
1Turn it on
Proactive suggestions are off by default. Switch on Proactive suggestions in Dex settings.
2Know what Dex watches
Commitments coming due, deadlines, meetings to prep or follow up on, and payment or limit changes.
3Get a suggestion, not an action
Dex looks into it and posts a draft, a plan, or a question in Dex updates. It does not send messages, change accounts, move meetings, or close commitments on its own.
4Stop or snooze
Every update carries Stop following up and Check tomorrow.
5Set up the AI Spend Beat
In notification settings, choose a daily or weekly brief, your timezone and delivery time, the material drift percent and minimum drift dollars that trigger an alert, quiet hours, and a daily notification cap. Use Pause delivery to stop it for a while.
