Check the deployment behind a reported problem
Find the relevant Vercel project and deployments. Prepare a brief identifying which deployment I should investigate and the evidence for that choice. Keep preview and production targets separate.
- Resolve the project by identifier and establish the environment the report concerns. A successful preview deployment does not establish the state of the production site.
- Read the deployment information and compare the relevant versions and status fields. Keep the deployment identifier with the report rather than relying only on a project name or a mutable alias.
- Give the owner the deployment details and the next check to perform. This connection reads projects and deployments; use a separately authorized process for publishing, rollback, or configuration changes.
